A family owned vineyard where after finishing his studies in France and some harvests around the world, Lucas Pfister decided to start this small project back home using only his favourite plots.
The idea is to express as much as possible the terroir in the wines by avoiding over manipulation and wine making tricks in the winery. The vineyard is located at 890 m above sea-level. With a continental dry climate. Ugarteche is known for very cold nights and very warm days. The vines are certified organic and Lucas' approach is very hands off in the cellar.
