Nicolas Réau turned to winemaking at the age of 22 after he noticed a newspaper advert about a professional degree in viticulture and oenology. This was a dramatic career change from being a professional pianist.
Nicolas practices biodynamic farming methods on his 7 hectares of land, he produced his first vintage in 2002 with natural yeast and minimal intervention.
Nicolas's wife is the notable wine writer, Sylvie Augereau, a champion of natural wine.
